"EXPLORING CHINA"- SHORT FILM

I had shot and produced a short film showcasing some of the beauty and life that I experienced whilst in China. From the ancient landmarks and freaky food in Beijing, to the ultra modern lively city of central Shanghai. I look forward to going back!

SWEENEY LONDON #LIVE YOUR CITY  CAMPAIGN

I produced a series of animations for Sweeney London's #LiveYourCity campaign with Soletrader, showing the different chosen locations around London and how they helped me in my every day journeys.

 

I chose to explore a nostalgic part of my childhood- Walpole park in Ealing, then a few pockets of beauty that I found around London. Finally, a few Art Galleries and artwork that inspire me.

ART DIRECTOR- SAMSON MAGAZINE

I was recently appointed as Art Director for the new Samson Magazine. With a focus on sports, fashion and  lifestyle, it is my responsibility to create an aesthetic which appeals to the target audience, while having  a contemporary, modern look to it.  I chose the typeface family which I felt gives strength to the  and laid out each page from start to finish.

 

Volume 1 was received very well, being featured on Hypebeast, and taking over various window displays and news stands around London. Nike have also collaborated with the magazine to produce branded merchandise.

"TIME IS A FLAT CIRCLE" ILLUSTRATED EDITORIAL

An illustration and photographic presentation on some of SS15's coolest watches. from brands such as Fossil, Daniel Wellington (Twisted Time), Emporio Armani etc, I experimented with this technique, illustrated the background and hand silhouettes to compliment the photos of the watches.

PRODUCT PLACEMENT

I had decided to start experimenting with creative product placement using pairs of New Balance and Puma trainers I had picked up.  I choose objects and backdrops that compliment the colour and the theme of the shoe. I will be experimenting with more product placement in the future.

JEEP

I was approached by The House of Luxury to consult for an event they were holding for Jeep's clothing range. I  proposed a live presentation of the garments in an outdoor environment, brought indoors. This then led to me communicating my ideas through sketches and renderings, resulting in me, Art Directing the event.

AESTHETIC TEST NO.5

This was an experimental moving image piece, shot and edited by myself. The purpose of this test was to discover new ways of displaying movement and capturing texture. I partnered with the talented Make-up Artist: Rebecca Keates.

ALL SAINTS X SAMSUNG

I was approached by All Saints and issued the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 by British clothing label- All Saints. The brief was to essentially show off my creativity using the phone, so I decided to document my creative process from the conception of an idea, to the execution.

 

The three-part video shows how I used the phone to taking reference pictures in the All Saints store, to shooting the model in those items.

 

The final part of the video was taken using the slow-motion feature on the phone, I wanted to capture the striking textures of the leather and movement of the garments.

ART INSTALLATION- JIGSAW

I was asked by British designer label- Jigsaw to produce a fine art illustration and an Art Installation for their store on 55 Duke Street. I came up with the idea of  having a constant projection playing across four mannequins in the store.

 

I shot different liquids in movement to capture the textures and patterns they made.  I wanted this to represent the idea of a 'natural, flowing conversation', as that was the main theme of the store.
